Sophia Says...

Sophia has come out with several funny things lately. Maybe they were "you had to be there" kinds of things, but I'll share them just in case they make you laugh, too.

Sophia saw the name of a local pub, "The Swan & Mitre," and misreading the last word said, "Swan & Marmite! I'm not too keen on Marmite. I tried it at preschool, but I didn't like it. I gave it back to the teacher." Although I agree with Sophia on this subject, I've since been thinking "The Marmite" might be a good name for a pub...

Another day Sophia asked, "Can I walk her?" because we've started using a harness and reins when walking with Alathea, as she often resists holding our hands. I guess when you don't have a dog, walking your little sister is the next best thing...

Finally, the four of us were on a bus ride yesterday during which Alathea threw up and I felt pretty motion sick. After hearing me comment about this, Sophia agreed, "I wasn't feeling very good on the bus either...my underwear kept sagging!" I did definitely notice Sophia having some sort of malfunction in that department several times yesterday--perhaps it's time for the next size up?
