Since my last, disappointing home-grown veg post, I've let the rest of our carrots grow for several weeks and was excited to see a decent sized carrot-top peeking out at me when watering. So Sophia and I decided to pull out a couple. We found we'd been growing mutant carrots. No clue what I've done wrong, but I think I'm officially hanging up my carrot growing hat.

This post made me laugh out loud. I managed to grow a mutant squashcumber. It looked like a squash, but smelled like a cucumber.
