May came and went and took my breath away at points with its momentum. These photos summarize some of the main events since my last post:
Our family, my parents, and our friend Janet took a boat ride on the Thames from Westminster to Greenwich.
Sophia is probably more into Alathea's toys than Alathea is at this point. I recently told Sophia that Alathea gets the prime laying spot in the gym because Alathea doesn't have a whole lot of entertainment options and Sophia has tons of toys. Now every time the gym comes out, Sophia tells me she needs to lay in it because she doesn't have anything else to play with!
Alathea spends a lot of free time doing this "trick."
My friend, Michelle, visited.
Wes hosted a pie night in our garden for his male colleagues. He'd been practicing his homemade steak pie with homemade pastry for months and we thought he'd win by a long-shot, but all the boys pulled out the stops. A rhubarb pie that looked like the British flag won, a rabbit pie came second, and a pork pie came third. And more importantly, they all had a lot of fun!
