Backdated: Overdue Outing

Wes and I have been meaning to see one of Shakespeare's plays at the Globe on the banks of the Thames in London for years, and we finally got around to it after Wes turned his masters dissertation in. My dad often talks about wanting to see a rendition of the Merchant of Venice, so when I saw it was showing, it seemed a perfect convergence of events. Mom was less keen to see a 'pound of flesh' extracted, so she volunteered to stay with the kids.

Backdated: Alathea's Class Assembly

Alathea's class led the whole school in an 'act of worship' with the song below, as well as by reenacting the Bible story of Jesus' healing blind Bartimaeus (not shown).
Transcript:
I'M GONNA JUMP UP AND DOWN,
Gonna spin right around,
Gonna praise Your Name forever.
Gonna shout out loud,
Gonna deafen the crowd,
Gonna send my praise to heaven.
I will run this race and I will never stop.
I'll follow Jesus till the day I drop.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
When you've got such a lot,
When you've got not a lot,
What?
Be happy!

Backdated: Springtime in Bromley

As my dad is an avid photographer, we still get records of our activities when he's with us, as with these pictures below, but he usually remains unseen, as he's always behind the lens! Alas, the more children I have, the less often I remember to break out the camera...Thanks for the photos, dad!
