Where to Start?

There's something about our family and autumns. Three of the seven autumns we've spent in England have been times of major upheaval, including this one. Hence, why my last blog post was in July--that and keeping up with three little ones over the summer, I guess. So maybe I'll just start again from now and go backward as far as I happen to get...

This was Theo today: crawling, babbling, grabbing everything, standing, laying the nativity set on its back and chucking objects in, tapping things together, and clapping.

This was Sophia last Thursday in her Christmas performance, dancing to Frosty the Snowman and singing When Santa Got Stuck up the Chimney :

This was Alathea last Tuesday in her Christmas sing-song, featuring the Christmas Conga, a Snowman Poem, a Mince Pie Counting Song, and my favorite (the words of which I've included below):

There's a baby.
Ooh, aah, in the manger.
Hush, shhh! Baby Jesus.
Ooh, aah, there's a danger...
That we're going to wake Him up,
He's such good news
we can't shut up,
We want to sing with the angels--heavenly sound,

Many Milestones

I'm catching up with the blog after not posting for nearly a month and a half, and I've realized that Theo's developed a lot during that time. Here are a few of his accomplishments I've captured:

Outgrowing his basket and moving to the baby bed

Sucking his thumb, growing more hair, and cutting two teeth

Blowing raspberries, rolling, jumping, grabbing, and finding his toes

Last Lighthouse

Alathea has been going to our church's toddler group every Thursday morning since she was a baby in my arms:

so I felt a bit sentimental this week while capturing her last time at Lighthouse for the annual Teddy Bears' Picnic:
